A garden adjacent to the main house.

The site is in front of Kuragano Station in Takasaki City, Gunma Prefecture, where a land readjustment project is underway. Due to the road construction, the existing main house in front of the station had not been able to put up a wall even five years after its completion, but the road construction was partially completed in the spring of 2018, and the fence could finally be put up. Rather than denying the environment that had taken root over the five years (the owner's flow lines and habits, the increasing plants, the mysterious stones, etc.), we considered the layout and design of the components and the planting plan while taking over these elements.

母屋に隣接する庭の計画。

計画地は群馬県高崎市倉賀野駅前で、区画整理がおこなわれ、現在工事が進められている最中の場所。駅前にある既存住宅は道路工事のあおりをうけ、竣工から5年たっても満足に塀が立てられない状況にあったが、2018年の春に道路整備が部分的に完了し、ようやく塀が立てられる目処が立ったことで、まずは外構を整備することになった。塀が立てられなかった5年間で定着してしまった環境（施主の動線や習慣、ぐんぐん育ってしまっている植物、なぜか置かれている謎の石など）を否定するのではなく、むしろ引き継ぎながら、構成要素の配置と設計、植栽計画の検討を進めた。
