Takahiro Ohmura

Takahiro Ohmura (b. 1991, The Crab) is a Japanese architect.
He has been an assistant professor at Ibaraki University since 2023, and he established the Office of Ohmura (OoO) in 2023.

Through architectural design, research, critique, and the creation of art works, he explores the potential of collectivity to support and encourage life in suburban or hinterland areas following urbanization and the emerging new necessity of architecture there.

Recent works include Garden beside WHITEHOUSE (2021), Fixing Garden (2022-), Screens in Kamiooka (2022), and Trans-prompt (2023).
